Responsibilities
Ventia is currently seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitters for full time ongoing positions. This role will see you performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance works across BP Refinery Kwinana.
* 4 day working week (Mon-Thurs) home every night with a 3 day weekend
* 9.5 hour days from 6.00 am – 4.00 pm
* Casual hourly rate $46.35
* OT rates offered for optional fifth weekday and weekend work
Requirements
* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
* Working at Heights and Confined Space entry tickets
* High Risk Licenses highly regarded
* WA Driver's License
* Ability to pass full pre-employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol test
Skills & Experience
* Experience in maintenance & fault finding activities
* Knowledge of hydrocarbon production systems and associated hazards
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Experience with rotating equipment, pumps and gearboxes
* Knowledge of laser alignment
* Ability to follow process & procedures
* Good knowledge of valves, piping systems and fittings
* Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
* Excellent attitude towards health, safety & environment
