We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Consultant Vascular Surgery to our Surgery and Critical Care Directorate. The (CNC) Vascular Surgery is required to lead and deliver expert clinical leadership in the provision and coordination of contemporary, person-centred care delivered in the clinical specialty of Vascular Surgery. This role will be part of a dynamic health environment with an expectation of practice at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Registered Nurse Standards of Practice. The SCUH is the major referral hospital for SCH for emergency and elective vascular cases and provides expertise in care to patients across the health service. Key Responsibilities include: * Advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice. * Advanced level of decision making in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. * Undertakes operational leadership. * Works collectively to apply the principles of clinical governance. Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $164,212, comprising salary rates $66.85 - $72.58 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Fixed term temporary part time, 38 hrs p.f. for eight months, with possible extension.).
