Intro
If you’re an Account Manager who wants more than just chasing this month’s number, Qirx might feel strangely refreshing. We’re a locally owned systems integrator and managed services provider in Mitchell, helping organisations across Canberra, Sydney and southern NSW modernise their infrastructure and navigate digital transformation.
The Role, Honestly
You’ll own a portfolio of clients and be their primary point of contact – understanding their world, solving problems, and making sure they’re genuinely looked after, not just “renewed”. You’ll shape account plans, lead meetings, craft proposals and tenders, and guide clients through software, cloud, hardware and cybersecurity solutions that actually fit.
You’ll sit close to the work – professional and managed services, systems architecture and infrastructure projects that actually change how our customers operate, not just keep the lights on. You’ll manage your pipeline and reporting in our CRM, collaborate with pre‑sales, marketing and delivery, and stay across industry trends so you can speak with authority, not scripts. This is not a pure new-business “hunter” role – you’ll grow and protect existing relationships first, then spot smart expansion opportunities. You won’t be doing this alone – dedicated SEs, marketing and project delivery are in the room with you for key opportunities.
Who This Is Really For
You build long-term relationships on trust, follow-through and straight talk – clients see you as a partner, not a vendor. You’re a clear communicator who listens hard, can translate complex IT into simple outcomes, and is comfortable negotiating deals that work for everyone.
You’re self-managed, organised and commercially sharp, able to balance multiple accounts, follow-ups and reports without dropping the ball. You can point to accounts you’ve grown, renewed or turned around, and you actually want a supportive team that holds a high bar for each other.
What Makes Qirx Worth It
Qirx is built around a simple idea: “Create a supportive, Caring and Nurturing Environment that encourages and enables everyone to do their best and have a good time doing it.” We back that up with a focus on innovation, change, excellence, trust and speed, and a leadership team that takes culture seriously and wants you to do your best work.
Total package is $135,000–$170,000 base salary plus uncapped OTE bonuses, aligned with your experience and impact. As a true solutions integrator with a wide technology portfolio, we solve real client problems through professional and managed IT services, systems integration and infrastructure projects for organisations across the region. If that sounds like you, hit apply and let’s start a real conversation.
