WAPRES is a leading tree plantation manager, processor and exporter in the Southwest of WA.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Permanent Nursery Hand to assist in the day-to-day operations of our production nursery, located in Manjimup, WA.
Reporting to the Nursery Manager, you will play a crucial part in the production over 6 million Eucalyptus and Pine seedlings.
Responsibilities:
* Daily Nursery production activities:
* Sowing
* Irrigation
* Fertiliser and chemical application
* Seedling dispatch
* Follow QA/QC procedures, ensuring product quality meets contracted product specifications
* Supervise daily tasks for season casual employees.
* Maintain accurate documentation/records
Requirements:
* Current Australian Driver's License
* Nursery or equivalent Horticulture industry experience is desirable.
* Strong communication, and problem-solving skills
* Computer Literacy (MS Excel & MS Word)
* Understanding of Quality Control
* Forklift & tractor experience desirable
WAPRES employees are required to complete a pre-employment medical and undergo random drug & alcohol testing.
