About the Role
We're looking for Mobile Speed Camera Operators to join the team in Wagga Wagga, reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the control room team. Operators are skilled and trained to work alone in an enforcement vehicle that links to a control centre. The role involves physical work with unusual hours and early/late starts. Operators will work a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
* Fully adhere to all road rules and demonstrate safe driving behaviour at all times.
* Perform a risk assessment of the site before each enforcement session, report sites that are unusable, and take photos when required.
* Coordinate with the control room for camera set up and testing before session commencement.
* Remain alert and attentive during an enforcement session, maintaining regular communications with the control room throughout the shift.
* Adhere to standard operating procedures when responding to angry or aggressive behaviour.
* Perform pre‐ and post‐shift vehicle inspections.
* Work independently for 10–12 hour shifts, including traveling long distances or to multiple regional and remote locations.
Pay and Benefits
* High earning potential ($ – $ per hour) – ordinary hours pay includes 25% loading.
* Penalty rates: $ for night shifts, $ for Saturdays, $ for Sundays, and $ – $ for overtime (rates include casual loading).
* Ordinary hourly rate increases to the operator rate of $ per hour after the competency assessment (from the 3–6 month anniversary of employment).
* Uncapped $500 bonuses for referring a friend who becomes a G4S employee.
* Fully paid on‐the‐job training commencing 9June.

Qualifications
* Full NSW driver's licence and a clean driving record.
* Comfortable being seated in a vehicle for extended periods.
* Ability to work alone for each shift (10–12hours) and drive long distances to multiple locations in regional and remote areas.
* Available to work a 24/7 rotating roster that includes weekdays, nights, and weekends.
