We are holding a Youth Worker Assessment Hub – meet the team and see if this role is right for you.

As a Youth Worker in our Residential Care and Intensive Therapeutic Houses, you’ll support young people aged 11–18. This complex care requires strength, emotional maturity, and the ability to stay calm and consistent – no two days are the same, but everyday matters. You’ll have a supportive team around you and house supervisors who are actively involved in your professional growth.
You will be working across multiple Intensive Therapeutic Houses on the Central Coast, offering secure, permanent, part-time employment with option to pick up extra shifts.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting young people to feel safe, respected and at home
* Applying trauma-informed, therapeutic approaches in daily care
* Building trusting relationships with young people who have experienced adversity
* Supporting life skills, routines and emotional regulation
* Working as part of a supportive, values-driven team
This role operates on a 24/7 roster, including morning, afternoon, night, sleepover and awake shifts.

What we’re looking for:
You’ll bring resilience, empathy and a strong commitment to trauma-informed care, along with:
* Diploma or Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services or equivalent
* Experience in youth work or residential care
* Ability to work therapeutically with young people with complex needs
* NSW Driver’s Licence & own vehicle
* Working With Children Check
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified candidates:
Formal qualifications are desirable, however lived experience, relevant skills and willingness to participate in training are highly valued.
