Position Overview Looking for an experienced civil project engineer with tunnelling, deep excavation, and pipeline experience.
About the Company My client is a renowned firm undertaking highly technical projects across Australia.
Their Victorian branch is expanding due to major wins in large infrastructure projects.
With 40 years of experience, they offer a range of tunnelling solutions, including micro tunnelling, pipe jacking, shaft construction, stormwater, and deep excavation.
The Melbourne team consists of 5 engineers and is growing, fostering a strong and enjoyable culture.
They are seeking an experienced civil delivery engineer with relevant background.

Role Responsibilities You will be responsible for planning, designing, and constructing various tunnelling and related projects, such as roads, highways, water systems, and utility tunnels.
Ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget is key.
You will report to an experienced project manager and support site engineers to deliver successful projects.
Experience managing projects valued from $2m to $10m is advantageous.
You should be confident in project setup on-site and managing crews and subcontractors during delivery.
Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering 4-7 years of relevant civil project experience, preferably with packages up to $20m Based in Melbourne and ready to start Strong communication skills, confident on-site management of subcontractors, and reporting to clients Experience with tunnelling projects valued between $1m and $20m, similar work preferred Availability to work on initial projects on the east side of Melbourne, with a flexible schedule (2 days/week on-site, 3 days/week in the office near Westgate) Full Australian work rights (PR or Citizen) Benefits Join a national firm with a growing Victorian presence, working on challenging and innovative projects.
