About the opportunity
Join the Occupational Therapy (OT) team at Mercy Care Centre, Young NSW. We provide public hospital OT services to acute & sub-acute inpatients, adult community, and community paediatric clients. Opportunity to enjoy the town of Young and develop your clinical skills.
* Role is rural generalist and is rotational - develop skills across inpatients & rehabilitation, community adults & Transitional Aged Care Program, and paediatric outpatient caseloads.
* Deliver NSW Health funded health services and provide evidence-based, effective and quality care to the Hilltops district in NSW.
* Regular supervision provided and internal and external professional development supported.
* New graduates encouraged to apply.
* Be part of a large multi-disciplinary team; OT team includes a senior OT, two Level 1-2 OTs and two Allied Health Assistants.
* Young is a wine and cherry area; 2hrs from Canberra, Wagga or Orange; 4 hours to the snow. Relocation allowance may apply.
Requirements/Qualifications

3. Self-motivated to learn and build a variety of skills, and be a positive team member.
4. You will be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining:
* A current Police Record Check
* NSW Working with Children Check
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
* Unrestricted driver's license
* AHPRA registration
