About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Service Technician to join our team in Townsville on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial, domestic or industrial electrical work and be willing to undergo internal training to develop skills in our industry.
This role involves completing a variety of tasks on automatic doors, overhead cranes, vehicle hoists, industrial equipment, mobile machinery and other materials handling equipment at clients sites. Our clients include industrial, civil, government, aviation, marina and defence sectors, providing a diverse range of work opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* To perform routine inspections, servicing and repairs of electrical equipment and assets
* To diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and resolve problems efficiently
* To maintain accurate records of work completed and any related documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications
* White Card (or ability to obtain)
* High attention to detail
* Positive attitude and approach to challenges
* Current Driver's License
* The ability to problem-solve with strong diagnostic skills
