We’re hiring Disability Support Workers right now across Gladstone and surrounds. Choose flexible shifts that suit your lifestyle — mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and overnights — with part-time (16hrs+ guaranteed) and casual opportunities.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred care and everyday support including:
- Personal care, meal prep and medication support
- Social and community inclusion activities
- Transport and assistance with daily living
- Group programs
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) support
You’ll be backed 24/7 by our clinical and rostering team, with full training and induction provided.
About You
We’re looking for people who are values-driven, reliable and passionate about empowering people with disability to reach their goals.
Must have (before starting):
- Current driver’s licence, reliable vehicle + insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue Card (or willing to obtain before starting)
- First Aid & CPR (or willing to complete before starting)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Modules (or willing to complete before starting)
- 100 points of ID
Qualifications: Cert III in Individual Support (or equivalent) is highly regarded but not essential — commitment, compassion and willingness to learn are what matter most.
Experience with manual handling, hoisting, mental health and complex behaviours is desirable, but full training will be provided.
Pay & Conditions
- Competitive wages
- Plus penalty rates, shift allowances, and 25% casual loading where applicable
- Paid kilometre reimbursement for travel on shift
