The role
Overview
Wilson Mining is a market leader in cavity fill, strata consolidation and ventilation control devices and is an integral part of the Mastermyne Group of Companies.
Responsibilities
- Work on a 7/7 even time roster delivering specialised project services across multiple mine sites in the Bowen Basin.
- Develop new skills and work across a diverse range of projects and mine environments.
- Perform bulkhead seal installations, strata consolidation and remediation works, ventilation installations and support, and emergency sealing system installations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as an underground coal miner/operator.
- Experience with chemical application and pumping (preferred but trainable).
- Standard 11 safety training completed.
- Current health assessment and current driver's licence.
- Committed to working safely and efficiently in underground coal environments.
- Versatile and willing to travel to different project sites.
