MC Tanker Driver – Darra – BCC Transport

We specialise in the delivery of admixtures into concrete batching plants throughout Queensland & Northern NSW as well as precast panels into building sites in the greater Brisbane area. We pride ourselves on the timely and safe delivery of goods to all our customers.
We are currently seeking an experienced MC Driver to join our team. The role, based out of Darra, will primarily involve A-Double & B-Double work delivering admixtures to regional Queensland customers. Along with the multi-combination work, there will be the requirement of HC deliveries in the South-East Corner of Queensland and the opportunity to be trained in our precast panels business.
The role is day shift only Monday – Friday, with the start time generally commencing at 04:00 am. We can offer the right candidate job security in a highly specialised industry, with variety of work and the opportunity to grow with our business.
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated full-time driver with a strong customer focus, and high level of attention to detail to join our team.
An immediate start is available for the right applicant, with comprehensive on the job training provided.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Single and Multi-Drop deliveries
* Loading and unloading of non-DG bulk liquid chemicals via pumps
* Experience with bulk liquid chemical transport is preferred, not essential
* Ensuring neat and clean presentation of vehicle and yourself
* Completion of minimal paperwork, predominately via electronic tablet
Successful candidates will have:
* MC Licence (Current Driving Record required)
* Clear communication skills
* Flexibility with hours of work
* Ability to think on the run and work in a team environment
* Ability to work autonomously after initial training
* Experience adhering to WHS and other operational procedures
* References from previous employers (names/contact details of referees)
* Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
* High level of attention to detail is essential
Successful candidates are required to:
* Complete and pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening)
* Complete Police Checks
