Position Summary
We are inviting applications for a Legal Assistant – Residential Property Department based in Launceston (open to discussion of other locations). This newly created role will support our busy team from initial instruction to post‐completion, providing key administrative and clerical support.
What You Will Do
* Provide administration assistance, including typing from digital dictation for lawyers and support team members.
* Handle telephone calls for the Residential Property Team.
* Participate in all stages of property matters, gaining exposure to the full process.
* Assist with file management for specific lawyers.
Experience and Qualifications
* Ideally, previous experience as a legal secretary in a property team.
* Customer contact experience with public and business clients.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong IT and record‐keeping skills.

Location
Ideally Launceston, with the possibility of remote work and discussion of other locations.
Hours
Full‐time, 35 hours a week Monday to Friday. Flexible arrangements may be considered.
