Venue And Events Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled Venue and Events Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for presenting, operating, and promoting the Civic Centre as a high-quality function venue that meets the needs of the community.
Key responsibilities include:
* Promoting the Civic Centre as a preferred function venue
* Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies
* Coordinating logistics for events and functions
* Ensuring exceptional customer service standards
The ideal candidate will have qualifications or demonstrated experience in event and function management, hospitality, or customer service provision. They will also possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
A strong understanding of facility management, lighting, sound systems, and theatre operations would be highly regarded. Additionally, the ability to work after hours and weekends to suit planned events and functions is essential.
This permanent part-time position offers a remuneration package based on Grade 7 of Council's Salary System Protocol, including a base salary and other award allowances, as well as superannuation.
