About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will be part of the Safe Staffing Levels project, benefiting from improved staffing ratios and strong clinical leadership.
What Safe Staffing Means for You
The NSW Government is rolling out minimum nurse-to-patient ratios across Emergency Departments to ensure safer workloads and better patient care. In this role you can expect:
- 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratios in treatment areas
- Dedicated triage and in-charge roles 24/7
- Improved support, safer conditions, and more time to focus on patients
You'll be supported by a collaborative team of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, Educators, and a strong senior leadership team, with a focus on career development and wellbeing.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Experience in ED or acute care settings
- Confidence in meeting Transfer of Care (ToC) KPIs
- Commitment to continuous learning and evidence-based practice
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
