Your new role
As a Boilermaker, you'll be a key member of the maintenance team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. Your primary focus will be the fabrication and maintenance of quarry machinery and equipment, ensuring the reliability and longevity of machinery used in crushing, screening, and material transport.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Structural and mechanical repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment
* Welding and fabrication of key components and structures
* Troubleshooting faults and identifying areas for improvement
* Preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and keep operations running efficiently
* Collaboration with fitters, electricians, and machine operators to address maintenance needs
What you'll need to succeed
* Cert III in Engineering (Fabrication)
* Manual driver's licence
* Experience in heavy industry, mining, or quarry environments
* Strong ability to read technical drawings
* Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* A proactive, problem-solving attitude
