Project Manager for Infrastructure Development
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of civil construction projects and maintenance programs. As part of our team, you will provide strategic oversight to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and community benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage high-performing teams responsible for maintaining and enhancing infrastructure assets across the local government area.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of civil construction projects and maintenance programs.
* Provide strategic oversight to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and community benefit.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in the management, programming, and delivering of civil roads and stormwater drainage infrastructure projects.
* Strong ability to plan, coordinate, and manage competing project demands to achieve objectives.
* Proven experience in contract management and procurement and financial oversight of external consultants and contractors.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities.
* Demonstrated capacity to make sound decisions and effectively manage competing demands in a dynamic environment.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities and experience supervising and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to review processes, procedures, and systems to contribute to the improvement of program and project delivery outcomes.
* Relevant experience in program management in a Local Government context.
* Working knowledge of NSW Roads Act and Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Protection of Environmental Operations POEO).
