Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Navigation Technician to install, repair, commission, and maintain complex systems and equipment. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of these systems, ensuring they meet all technical specifications.
You will perform hands-on setup, testing, integration, and commissioning of equipment and systems, resolving complex issues and producing detailed defect analysis and technical reports. You will also mentor and support the development of technicians, providing guidance and feedback on work quality.
In addition, you will collaborate across teams to support system design, construction, testing, acceptance, and team-based project delivery. You will develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, including test procedures and reports, while ensuring compliance with quality systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate III in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
* Proven experience in test and commissioning of complex systems or equipment in a technical or engineering environment
* Strong understanding of technical documentation, test procedures, and quality systems compliance
* Working knowledge of general-purpose test equipment, diagnostic tools, computers, and computer programs
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* NV1 defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
* Eligibility to access ITAR information and equipment
