Partnerships Coach - Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA)

Breakthru is delivering the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland. We support people to access meaningful employment and build lasting careers. This is a community‑facing, outcome‑driven role within a respected not-for-profit network backed by the Royal Rehab Group.

As a Partnerships Coach, you’ll work side‑by‑side with participants to explore career goals, build confidence, and support them into meaningful employment. You’ll understand strengths and aspirations, offer tailored coaching, link participants to opportunities, and collaborate with employers to open doors. You’ll also help employers understand business needs and provide staffing solutions that fit, including training and promoting inclusive hiring practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
- Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health conditions.
- Engage with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
- Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
- Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
- Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
- Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
- Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
- Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
- Champion Breakthru’s values of inclusion, empowerment, and person‑centred practice.

About You

You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. You may have experience in employment services or a genuine passion for helping people find work. You’re outcomes‑focused, highly organized, and thrive in a fast‑paced, people‑first environment. You enjoy understanding an employer’s business, people, culture, and challenges to identify staffing solutions that truly fit. Strong relationship‑building, training delivery, and knowledge of inclusive employment practices will help you make a lasting impact. You are proactive with marketing and networking, keep accurate records, and approach your work with integrity and confidentiality.

Essential Criteria

- Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – desirable
- Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
- Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions
- Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client‑focused employment plans
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current Driver's License – essential
