Clinical Educator Role
The primary purpose of this position is to develop, maintain and implement training programs for staff that promotes high quality patient care, a safe and high functioning operating environment for staff, and compliance with industry protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Content development and delivery of the Annual Competency training program and assessment of staff compliant with National Standards.
* Content development and delivery of the new staff induction program including final assessment of staff as being ready for active deployment.
* Leading the development and update of a training schedule with a program up to 12 months in advance where possible.
* Working with MPC Management, Clinicians, Clinical Instructors, Clinical and Quality Manager to identify staff training needs or areas of risk.
* Developing and delivering tailored training programs for staff needing to address specific skills and training gaps.
* Developing training programs for new equipment and/or new work methods.
* Overseeing the development of content for the ELMO online training platform and maintenance of up-to-date system content.
* Participating in clinical reviews to identify training gaps & improvements.
* Ensuring accurate recording and reporting of staff attendance and assessment of any training provided.
* Preparing documents, presentations and reports as required for leadership meetings.
* Identifying opportunities to improve business and clinical processes and ensure all processes are patient centric, efficient and effective.
* Promoting a customer and patient centric culture that aligns to the values of the organization.
* Promoting a safe, compliant and respectful work environment for staff and responding in a timely fashion to issues as they arise.
* Striving for staff compliance with all clinical and legislative protocols and policies.
* Leading projects to improve the functioning of the business and to increase safety, quality and effectiveness of MPC.
* Mentoring and providing training to staff when on road working in the capacity of an ATA.
* Assisting with interview, assessment and orientation of new staff as required.
* Logging and maintaining accurate education records.
* Auditing staff, policies and procedure compliance with National Standard.

* Experience in patient transport.
* Meet the requirements and qualifications of an ATA.
* Clinical Instructor qualification to support a clinical and non-clinical learning environment (preferred).
* Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and training (preferred).
