My Companion Co. is a growing, community-focused disability support service committed to empowering individuals to live independently and confidently. As our services continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Receptionist with strong NDIS knowledge to join our team.
This is not a standard front desk role. We are looking for someone who understands the NDIS space, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely cares about people.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for participants, families, support coordinators and staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and professional service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing front desk operations and phone enquiries
* Liaising with participants, families and support coordinators
* Assisting with NDIS enquiries, service agreements and general administration
* Supporting compliance documentation and record keeping
* Scheduling and rostering assistance
* Data entry and maintaining accurate systems
* Upholding confidentiality and professional boundaries
Essential Requirements
* Demonstrated experience working within the NDIS sector
* Strong understanding of NDIS terminology, funding and processes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Professional presentation and ability to manage sensitive situations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Current Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
