This will involve:Developing relationships, promoting and pricing FX products to the SME and Retail marketAssisting the FX Specialists and FX & IR RM Product Specialist to manage treasury documentation, establishing limits, and assisting Business Bankers when and if requiredAssisting the FX RM Specialists service existing and prospective foreign exchange customersAssisting FX & IR RM team service an existing client base whilst supporting, Business Banking & Agribusiness Managers in establishing limits and client accounts. The portfolio will be largely spot and same day foreign exchange transactionsProviding support to the Manager, FX & IR RM to improve product development, procedures and policies with a focus on streamlining workflows for Business Banking colleaguesRole Type: PermanentRole Location: Heritage Lanes, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000Work Hours: Full time (37.5 hours/week)What will your day look like?As an FX Analyst, you will be accountable for:Client Experience – demonstrated client satisfaction through assisting the Foreign Exchange desk servicing a national portfolio of clientsPortfolio Growth and Development – assist the FX & IR RM teams to achieve revenue and behavioural targetsProject Work – provide ongoing project support to the development and implementation of improved procedures and productsCompliance – Adhere to compliance requirements for all internal and external regulatory and operational activities by monitoring & reporting on daily activities, limit breaches and policy breaches. Commitment to managing AFMA professional continuing education requirementsPersonal Development - construction and implementation of a personal development plan to enhance skills required in current and future roles within the organisationTeam Engagement – Contribution to the team effort on the Treasury Sales Desk, Treasury as a Division and the Bank’s goalsWhat will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Marketing is highly desirableRG146 Dealer Accreditation is highly desirable (the successful candidate may potentially be supported to complete AFMA accreditation alongside RG146)Strong experience in the banking and/or Financial Markets industryAbility to effectively contribute to the IRRM & FX RM Team and to adapt to a flexible and positive approach to a dynamic and challenging environmentExcellent customer skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectivelySelf-motivated with the determination and drive to succeed in a competitive marketMotivated to offer excellent service and add value to customers. To have a natural ability to deal with people and one who enjoys these interactionsAdvanced Excel skills and a high degree of mathematical literacyMethodical and strict attention to detail with the ability to problem solveTime management and organisational skills and the desire to work collaborativelyStrong communication skills, written and verbalYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
