The company owns an apartment portfolio of approximately 25,000 units across 15 states with a predominant focus spanning California to Texas.
Job Summary
This role plays an important part in analyzing property-level transactions including operations data, financial data, and leasing activity.
Key Responsibilities
* Support asset managers in all types of data analysis including financial analysis, property management operations analysis, and acquisition/disposition analysis.
* Prepare correspondence to tenants, owners, investors, partners, and lenders as needed.
* Engage with third-party vendors when acquiring new assets and maintaining current ones.
* Review operating reports and financial reports monthly.
* Manage asset management files, contracts, and records.
* Assist in reviewing and analyzing operator provided annual budgets, including capital expenditures, operating expenses, and revenue assumptions.
* Review Market and Submarket Data and benchmarking across the portfolio.
Requirements
* 1-3+ years of real estate or any type of financial analysis experience is preferred.
* Highly skilled in Excel and data analytics.
Preferred Skills
* Documented knowledge of financial cash flow modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
* Ability to prioritize and work independently while also working well in a group setting.
* Ability to effectively and efficiently present information and interface with company leadership.
