About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager, the Project Support Officer will provide project and contract administration support of Council’s capital delivery which will include supporting project managers and assisting in contractor management activities and supervision.
The role will exemplify Council’s vision to meet community expectations, deliver organisational key performance indicators and maintain accountabilities in line with the Community Plan and customer ethos of “people are at the centre of all we do and deliver”.
Some accountabilities will be;
* Project and program administration
* Directorate administration support
* Customer service activities
* Provision of reporting, procurement, contract management, grant, budget and project support.
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Certificate level or higher qualifications in business administration and / or project management with demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrated experience in undertaking contract and project administration.
* Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of contracts and contractual requirements.
* Knowledge of relevant governance and legislative requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and present information with high attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
* Demonstrated high level customer service skills.
* Demonstrated proficient computer skills.
* The ability and proven experience to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
