About the role
The Library Programming and Events Assistant ensures that the Inner West Council Library & History Service is a pivotal information, recreation and education provider in the community. Reporting to the coordinator, this role assists the Programming team to deliver quality lifelong learning, literacy, cultural and recreation programs and services across the Council's eight libraries.

Remuneration
$56,****** - $65,****** + 12% Superannuation
Responsibilities
Support the Programming team to deliver quality lifelong learning, literacy, cultural and recreation programs and services across eight libraries.
Assist with coordinating and delivering public programs for diverse audiences in a public library service or cultural institution.
Liaise with facilitators and suppliers as required.
Support customer service and ongoing service development.
Report and evaluate programs.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Keep informed about current trends in public libraries, lending services, emerging information technologies, publishing, and contemporary culture; contribute ideas to create new programs.
