Job Summary
The Senior Risk and Compliance Manager leads the development, implementation, training and reporting of Line 1 risk management in alignment with HUB24's Line 2 Risk & Compliance frameworks. The role provides strategic advice to senior leadership, ensures adherence to regulatory obligations, and promotes a strong risk aware culture. This role is responsible for Line 1 support across Class, NowInfinity and myprosperity within the Technology Solutions business of HUB24.
Responsibilities
* Risk Management: Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of Class' risk management framework. Identify, assess, and monitor strategic, operational, and regulatory risks. Provide expert advice to executives on risk exposures, emerging risks, and mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain risk reporting, dashboards, and insights for senior leadership and board committees.
* Compliance Management: Oversee the Class compliance framework, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation, regulations, standards, and internal policies. Manage regulatory obligations, including monitoring, breach assessments, remediation activities, and external reporting. Lead compliance reviews, policy development, and control improvements. Monitor regulatory change and ensure timely implementation across impacted business areas.
* Governance and Assurance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring appropriate responses and closure of findings. Lead incident and issue management processes, including root‐cause analysis and action tracking. Strengthen governance processes, risk appetite alignment, and organisational accountability.
* Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement: Influence and support senior leaders to embed risk management and compliance into business decision‐making and reporting. Deliver training and communication to uplift awareness across the organisation. Represent the function in executive forums, working groups, within the Line 2 risk team, and with regulatory engagement.
Requirements
* Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Law or related field. 10 years plus of experience as a Risk or Compliance professional in the Financial Services industry. Knowledge of ATO, SMSF and ASIC regulations. Working knowledge of ISO 31000 Risk Management Framework. Experience in Digital Service Provider (DSP) Operational Security Framework desirable.
