Are you confident working independently in a fast paced environment? Access Canberra is seeking a Manager in Transport Licensing to take ownership of complex operational responsibilities within a dynamic regulatory setting. This role involves managing competing priorities, resolving issues quickly, and supporting senior leaders across divisional initiatives and reforms.

Operating with limited direction, you’ll be expected to deliver high-quality outcomes while navigating change and driving continuous improvement. The position requires strong organisational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work across teams and stakeholders to support service delivery and governance.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

- Demonstrated ability to work independently under limited direction in a regulatory environment is highly desired.
- Experience with Road Transport legislation and the Registration ACT system is highly desired.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from 13th October 2025 until 31st December 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Please note, this position is under activity-based working (ABW) arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Opportunities for flexible working options include a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT.
