Lead Educator Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Educator to join our team in Whyalla. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of our early learning centre.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to shape and implement educational programs that promote children's learning and development. You will work closely with our Director and other educators to ensure that our centre provides a high-quality education and care service to children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)
* Supervise and support a small team of educators to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education to children
* Contribute to the planning and delivery of professional development opportunities for staff
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required by legislation and regulations
Requirements:
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved qualification
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a lead educator role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
