The Opportunity
An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise performance across a complex, multi-site regional network. Reporting to the General Manager and overseeing a senior leadership team, you’ll be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, safety, and customer service across multiple locations in Northern Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering operational outcomes that align with strategic sales and manufacturing goals across a distributed network.
- Leading product and service reviews to meet evolving customer demands, while ensuring local engagement through tailored promotions and events.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute seamless logistics, promotional schedules, and operational plans.
- Developing and implementing site-level growth plans that support broader financial and business objectives.
- Fostering a high-performance team culture focused on accountability, safety, and outstanding customer service across all regional sites.
- Maintaining consistent, high-quality site presentation standards that reflect brand values and customer expectations.
- Ensuring compliance with WHS standards, managing performance, and driving continuous improvement across all areas of operation.
- Preparing and managing budgets, analysing key metrics, and leading operational projects aimed at business efficiency and innovation.
Your Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing multi-site operations, ideally in trade, retail, manufacturing, or construction-related industries.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategic and tactical plans.
- Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and mentoring high-performing teams across diverse geographic locations.
- High-level problem-solving skills, especially in fast-paced, customer-focused settings.
- Deep understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory standards within operational environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field, coupled with strong leadership credentials.
- A current open driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Northern Australia as required.
