We're Hiring: Invoice Compliance and Portal Administrator (Full Time)

At Tonkin, we're a people-first, tech-enabled multi-trade business continuing to build momentum across the region. We're looking for an Invoice Compliance & Administration Officer to join our growing Finance team and help keep invoicing accurate, compliant and on track.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role supports strong cashflow by ensuring invoices are prepared correctly and submitted in line with customer requirements. It's well suited to someone who is detail-driven, organised and keen to grow their skills within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review job documentation and purchase orders to ensure invoices are accurate, compliant and ready for submission
* Prepare, submit and track invoices and supporting documentation through customer portals and systems
* Manage invoice queries, rejections and resubmissions, identifying root causes and resolving issues promptly
* Liaise with internal teams to obtain missing information and ensure invoicing requirements are met
* Support month-end processes, invoice reporting and the maintenance of accurate financial records
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of invoicing and compliance processes
Experience:
* Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Accounting or a related field (preferred).
* Experience in invoice compliance, finance administration or quality assurance.
* Strong understanding of purchase orders and customer compliance requirements.
* Confident using accounting systems, invoicing portals and Excel.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
