About The Role
We are creating a new role for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead the growth of our rental portfolio. You will not be \"stuck behind a desk\"—this is a role for a hunter who thrives on building relationships and chasing new business.
Working closely with our Directors and the Property Management team, your key responsibilities will include:
* Prospecting for new business and generating leads within the Wantirna and Knox area.
* Conducting rental appraisals and presenting our premium management services to prospective landlords.
* Building strong relationships with our sales team to maximize referral opportunities.
* Networking with local businesses, developers, and the community to expand our reach.
* Ensuring a seamless handover of new listings to our Property Managers.
About You
You are energetic, professional, and hungry for success. You understand that real estate is about people, and you have the communication skills to build trust quickly.
* Experience: Proven experience in Real Estate (Property Management or Sales) or a strong background in B2B sales/business development.
* Mindset: You have a \"hunter\" mentality—you are self-motivated and driven by targets.
* Knowledge: An understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act is an advantage, but a willingness to learn is essential.
* Presentation: You take pride in your professional presentation and represent our brand values of integrity and excellence.
* Requirements: A valid Agent's Representative Certificate (or full license), current driver's license, and reliable vehicle.
