The position of Training Officer is primarily responsible for providing management and leadership in the areas of:-
* Staff selection and induction
* Staff training
* Workplace assessment of staff skills and competencies
* Job analysis design and evaluation

* Training & Development Strategy – development, implementation, review, evaluation & continuous improvement
* Stakeholder Networking & Connections - develops & maintains close working relationships with internal stakeholders
* Effective Coordination &/or Delivery of Training - plans & schedules training in consultation with Plant management, employees and all parties involved.
* Maintains accurate & detailed training & attendance records; captures training data and information in relevant IT systems
* Measure & Evaluation of Effectiveness of Training - Monitors & keeps under review training issues & trends; provides accurate & timely reports.
* Continuous Improvement of Training - Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable training programs and initiatives, traineeships and apprenticeships; recommends improvements to training strategy; ensures improvements are implemented II Meat Processing.
