Trade Assistant / Dairy Technician – Dairy Technology Services

We're now looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our growing team in Kyabram and be part of the future of Australian dairy farming.
About the role:
This is a hands-on role offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge dairy technology.
- Installation, testing and servicing milking equipment and feed systems
- General maintenance, service work, troubleshooting, repairs and breakdowns in and around farm dairies
- Work with both conventional and robotic dairy systems – including new installations and servicing existing setups
About you:
We’re seeking someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a positive, can-do attitude. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A trade background in mechanical, electrical, welding, fitting, or fabrication (advantageous, but not essential)
- Diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Stainless steel welding and fabrication skills
- Basic plumbing knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently and in a team
- A solid work ethic and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred however full training will be provided
