Operations technician

Silverstone are currently seeking experienced Operations Technician's to join a well‐established mining operation in regional Western Australia. This is a hands‐on role supporting critical brine infrastructure across a large-scale operational network. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and optimisation of bores, pipelines, pumping systems, and associated equipment. • Install, remove, inspect, maintain, and repair bores, pipelines, and associated infrastructure
• Conduct daily inspections, routine maintenance activities, and complete accurate operational reporting
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform both planned and reactive operational tasks
• Safely operate machinery and mobile equipment in accordance with site procedures and manufacturer guidelines
• Identify and report hazards, defects, incidents, and non‐conformances while actively participating in site safety initiatives
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost‐saving initiatives that enhance operational performance and reliability
• Maintain high housekeeping and environmental standards across the work area

• A safety‐focused and motivated operator who takes ownership of their work and enjoys contributing to a high‐performing team environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating and maintaining brine systems within a mining or industrial environment
• Current WA HR Driver's Licence
• Construction White Card
• Loader, Telehandler, Excavator, Dogman and Basic Rigging tickets (or ability to obtain)
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365
• Experience using Pronto or similar maintenance management systems
• Sound knowledge of brine operations, submersible pumps, and HDPE pipeline systems
• Experience working with pressurised pumping and conveyance infrastructure
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence

• Up to $75/hr + Super paid on all hours
• 2/2 FIFO roster
