Overview
Senior Analyst, Governance Reporting & Analytics responsible for supporting Line 1 Risk governance and analytics across the Divisional Risk Committees. This role involves managing governance activities, coordinating risk papers, tracking action items, maintaining decision registers, and ensuring attendance records are up to date. It also supports the data analytics effort to track and report risk measures and metrics, enabling well-supported and informed Divisional Risk Committees. This is a highly collaborative role, working with Line 1 and Line 2 Operational and Divisional Risk teams, as well as BOQ Group Executives and General Management.
Responsibilities
* Manage governance for all Line 1 Divisional Risk Committees: set agendas, forward planning, take minutes, coordinate papers, track action items, maintain decision registers, and keep attendance records up to date.
* Support the data analytics team to track and report on risk measures and metrics.
* Collaborate with Line 1 and Line 2 Operational and Divisional Risk teams and engage with BOQ Group Executives and General Management.
* Deliver key risk indicators, support the development of risk frameworks, and utilise tools like GRC and Power BI to drive risk reporting and analytics.
Qualifications
* Detail-oriented professional with working knowledge of operational risk management frameworks and governance practices.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with Power BI is preferred or willingness to learn.
* Excellent time management, ability to work independently, and manage conflicting deadlines.
* Experience in financial services is a plus.
* Collaborative team player with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels and uphold high standards of compliance and conduct.
