* Roster: Monday to Friday, weekly rotating shift times
About The Client
Our client is an Australian business, that manufactures and supplies 100% Australian-made steel reinforcing bar, mesh and accessories.
About The Role
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales support, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Youll be handling phone and email enquiries, assisting Account Managers, entering orders, managing purchase requests, and helping ensure on-time delivery for residential customers. This position suits someone organised, communicative, and confident in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships
* Provide product information and technical advice
* Enter orders accurately and follow through to delivery
* Manage residential order correspondence and quotation requests
* Assist Account Managers and Sales Manager with customer requirements
* Process purchase orders for inventory and non-inventory items
* Manage despatch action reporting
* Investigate issues and escalate recommendations for approval
Skills And Experience Required
* Proven experience in a similar customer service or sales support role
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Good computer literacy and accurate data entry
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to pass a police check
* Drivers licence and reliable transport
