Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable, professional, and licensed Security Guards to join our expanding team in Melbourne. As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in maintaining safety and security across various sites, ensuring a secure environment for staff, clients, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular patrols of premises, venues, or public areas to deter and detect suspicious activity
* Manage access control to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas
* Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and respond promptly to security breaches or incidents
* Maintain a professional and approachable presence on-site
* Collaborate with emergency services when necessary
* Complete accurate incident reports, shift logs, and safety documentation
* Uphold high standards of appearance, behaviour, and professionalism at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
* Valid Victorian Security Licence (with Crowd Control functions if applicable)
* Strong observational and situational awareness skills
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
* Excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
* Physically fit and capable of patrol duties and standing for extended periods
* Flexibility to work across rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
* Previous security or crowd control experience is preferred but not mandatory
