Oncology Registered Nurse – Regional Queensland

Locum Mental Health Registered Nurse – cmr

Join us as a Locum Mental Health Registered Nurse and play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care across all divisions of mental health nursing, including community, inpatient, acute, and more. We are seeking dedicated nurses for a 12‑week contract (or more) in regional and remote locations across Australia. In these dynamic roles, you'll work in varied settings, providing case management, planning patient care, administering medication, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining precise documentation.

As a Locum Mental Health Registered Nurse with cmr, you'll experience a range of meaningful roles across Australia's mental health care landscape. From community outreach to acute interventions, you'll provide critical support and care in:

* Acute Mental Health : Work in fast‑paced acute care settings, managing urgent mental health crises, stabilising patients, and coordinating with emergency services. Use your crisis intervention skill to make a rapid impact during high‑pressure situations.
* Inpatient Units : Deliver consistent, supportive care to individuals requiring more intensive mental health support. You'll manage daily assessments, administer medication, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help stabilise and rehabilitate patients on their path to recovery.
* Community Mental Health : Be a key resource for patients outside the hospital environment, offering case management, comprehensive assessments, and care planning. Criteria:

To excel in this role, you should have:

* Qualifications : Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
* Experience : A minimum of 5 years in mental health nursing, particularly in case management.
* Communication Skills : Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with patients and team members.
* Collaboration : Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Transportation : A valid driver's licence for regional and remote roles.
* Flexibility : Willingness to commit to travel nursing contracts in regional/remote areas for at least 12 weeks.

Employment Type: Permanent Full‑Time (76 hours per fortnight)

Pay Rates: $41.58 – $48.63 per hour (RN Level 1.1 – 1.4)

Work Type: AM, PM & Night Shifts

We are seeking experienced and graduate Registered Nurses to join a well‑regarded aged care facility located in Rockhampton, Central Queensland .

This aged care facility provides high‑quality, person‑centred care within a warm and supportive team environment. With strong clinical leadership and excellent staffing ratios, this is a fantastic opportunity for RNs who are passionate about aged care and looking for long‑term stability.

1. Medium sized residential aged care home in Rockhampton
2. 13 beds dedicated to dementia care; 52 beds a mix of low and high care
3. Single‑storey design with private ensuites and outdoor garden access
4. Excellent staffing ratios:
* 2 RNs on AM and PM shifts
* 1 RN overnight
5. Supportive clinical leadership team, including full‑time senior clinical staff
6. Focused on staff development, collaboration, and quality care
7. Permanent full‑time positions (76 hours per fortnight)
