**Our Client**
Our client is a large, well known organisation based in North Ryde looking to bring on a temp payroll officer to start ASAP!. Due to an influx in workload, they are looking for IMMEDIATE assistance with their payroll function for 3-6 months initially. There is parking onsite with flexibility to WFH 2 days per week.
**The Role**
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Managing the new starter process, employee terminations, superannuation, payroll tax, and end of month processes.
- Processing the payroll and pay release processes to agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Managing the generation and distribution of management reports.
- Monitor and respond to payroll queries and requests for information.
- Ensuring personnel data is up to date.
- Assist management with ad-hoc duties as required.
**Your Profile**
To be considered for the role you will need to have the following attributes:
- Experience/exposure to a payroll process
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Excel.
- Proven interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels within the organisation, and externally with stakeholders.
- Ability to learn new systems and procedures.
- Ability to manage a demanding, high volume fortnightly payroll.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- A friendly, approachable personality
