32 Hours p/w Mon-Thurs
Maxitool Australia is a locally owned business which specialises in the design and manufacture of mining and other bespoke equipment.
We are currently seeking a Casual Trades Assistant for our workshop in Edmonton.
Duties will include:
* General cleaning and labour support across the workshop and yard
* Organising, cleaning and maintaining a safe and tidy workspace
* Pick up and delivery of equipment
* Safely operating a forklift to move and store materials and equipment
* Supporting the workshop operations
* Assist with routine repairs & maintenance of workshop equipment
Skills & Experience Preferred:
* Hard working and self-motivated
* Team player
* Punctual and reliable
* Dedicated commitment to safety & quality
* Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol test
* Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods
* Demonstrated experience as a trade assistant
* This position may be suitable to a school leaver without experience if you are able to meet the other requirements
We are looking for an individual who displays a "Can Do" attitude, who can demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role.
