We are a small, close-knit team of animal lovers - we all work really well together with care and communication being a top priority for us. Our clinic is modern and close by to public transport, a few nice cafes and just a quick drive from the beach!The Glen Eira clinic team are well known and loved in the community and by our loyal and longstanding clientele, we care for a range of animals – dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, rats and mice! As well as a lot of wildlife.What You’ll Be Doing Each DayUndertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical carePerforming minor procedures when requiredMaintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipmentHandling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phoneAdministration duties when requiredWhat You’ll BringCertificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent2+ years of experience with competency in all areas of nursingAbility and eagerness to mentor and guide junior nursesA friendly, team player, go-getter attitude!!Strong communication and customer service skillsExperience with Rx works (preferred but not essential)Most importantly, we are seeking a motivated nurse who is interested in furthering their knowledge both as an individual and as part of a team.
