Job Description
As a key member of our project team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of environmental projects. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on environmental matters to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental science and practice, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will work closely with our project managers and other team members to develop and implement effective environmental management strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing input into the development of construction environmental management plans
* Conducting regular environmental audits and compliance inspections at construction sites
* Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental approvals and regulations
* Working closely with project managers and construction teams to identify and address environmental risks
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification in environmental science or a related field
* Experience in implementing construction environmental management plans
* Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state environmental protection laws and permitting processes
* Excellent organisational and project management skills
