Job Summary:
The Supply Support Officer plays a key role in executing supply chain support to various programmes, meeting client demands under contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain inventory management systems, including cataloguing new inventory items and ensuring accuracy of records.
* Assess sourcing requirements by liaising with stakeholders based on estimates, market experience, purchase complexity, and thresholds, making informed decisions to meet business needs.
* Develop relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to manage lead times and logistic control, ensuring efficient delivery of goods and services.
* Provide input to supply support reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submission of data.
* Manage issues with goods/services through supplier corrective action process, resolving disputes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of supply support business processes, implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in supply support or logistics, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry practices and procedures.
* Formal qualification in a trade or logistics management, such as a degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
* Knowledge of asset management standards, systems, and processes, including familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
* AGSVA baseline security clearance is required for this position, which involves working with sensitive information and equipment.
