* Band 5, $39.21 - $45.13 per hour plus superannuation
* Located at all Community Hubs within the municipality
City of Ballarat is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to work as part of the Libraries and Lifelong Learning team to provide high quality, efficient and friendly customer service, information and learning services that meet the diverse needs of the community.
You will use your administrative and customer service skills to provide a welcoming first point of contact, while also supporting the day-to-day running of the service through systems, processes, and coordination activities. Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks such as bookings, documentation, reporting, and data entry, are critical to success in this role. You will also contribute to the development of our community activations to meet the diverse needs of the community.
This position works with the Team Leader Community Hubs and Outreach undertaking daily operations and activation of all Community Hubs within the municipality and the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the provision of high quality customer service.
Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualification in community development, social sciences, learning and education, or significant relevant experience.
* Considerable experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office applications and internet technology.
* Demonstrated skills and aptitude developed in a customer service environment.
* Working with children check

* Ability to identify and initiate new opportunities and be innovative in developing new concepts to improve community and organisational outcomes.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organisational strategic outcomes.
