About the role

Shape the Future of Culture in the Goldfields!

Are you ready to lead a vibrant regional museum and make a lasting impact?

We’re looking for a dynamic, self‑motivated leader who thrives on challenges and wants to make a real difference in regional communities. If you’re passionate about museums, love working with people, and enjoy creating cultural experiences that matter, this is your chance to shine.

The successful applicant will be expected to do the following:

* Lead a passionate team to deliver engaging exhibitions, events, and programs that celebrate local and regional stories.
* Drive strategic and business planning to position the Museum as a cultural hub in the Goldfields.
* Manage budgets, resources, and staff development to ensure excellence and accountability.
* Build strong partnerships with community leaders, Aboriginal Elders, artists, and organisations.
* Secure sponsorships and grants to support innovative projects and programs.
* Represent the Museum in the community and contribute to WA Museum‑wide initiatives.
