* Coordinate and prepare strategies for pest and fire control
* Assist or lead on-ground delivery of pest and fire management activities
* Respond to wildfire incidents and other unplanned events
* Undertake flora and fauna surveys
* Review research permit assessment applications
* Conduct cultural surveys
* Evaluate habitat condition and biomass levels
* Develop project briefs for new initiatives
* Offer technical advice and training
