We are seeking a motivated engineer with cross-discipline capability—either a Mechanical Engineer with strong electronics/automation skills or an Electrical/Electronic Engineer with strong mechanical aptitude—to join our team in Harvey.
Job Overview:
Reporting to our Senior Engineer, you will work on automation and fixed plant projects across our manufacturing facility and, as required, support our customers with operational and maintenance engineering services.
Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:
* Design and upgrade of manufacturing equipment and fixed plant
* Electrical and mechanical installation works
* PLC programming and automation integration
* Commissioning, testing and troubleshooting
* Creating and maintaining engineering documentation (drawings, manuals, work instructions)
* Customer support activities such as site audits, maintenance planning, upgrades and condition monitoring analysis
What We're Looking For:
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics (or similar)
* Demonstrated experience across automation and practical plant engineering (one discipline can be stronger than the other)
* PLC experience (Omron—please include in your application)
* Strong fault-finding skills across electrical/mechanical systems
* Good documentation and communication capability
* A proactive, safety-first mindset and ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment
* Valid Australian work rights (required)
