The Role:
This is a unique blended role where you'll spend:
- 4-6 hours per week delivering First Aid courses to corporate and public groups
- 20 hours per week as operational support (potential additional hours)
You'll work directly with our Company Director, splitting your time between our Ipswich office and work from home.

Most Trainers love delivering courses but don't enjoy the inconsistency with income. This role gives you the best of both worlds, with regular classroom delivery while building stable income through coordination work. What You'll Be Doing:
Trainer: 4-6 hours per week at $80–$100/hour
-First Aid courses (CPR, First Aid, Childcare First Aid) to corporate clients and public groups. Additional courses pending your skill set and qualifications.
Training Coordination & Administration: 20 hours/week at $40/hour
- Coordinate course schedules, venues and trainer logistics across multiple locations
- Provide responsive customer service and handle enquiries
- Support marketing campaigns and business growth projects
- General administration to keep things running smoothly
Your Week Looks Like:
- Deliver 1-3 First Aid courses per week (4-6 hours at $80-100/hr) = $550-$600
- Training coordination & admin support (20 hours at $40/hr) = $800
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) – mandatory
* Experience in administration role with strong computer skills
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
* Australian Business Number (ABN) – this is a contractor role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
* Availability during business hours
* Based in Ipswich or West Brisbane region
Desirable:
- Previous First Aid training experience (but attitude and motivation count for a lot)

The Team:
You'll be working directly with our Company Director in a small, close knit team where your feedback and opinion on improving structure and Trainer and student experience is welcomed. We also work with a roster of casual Trainers who deliver courses across the region. As the Training Coordinator, you'll be the central point of contact who keeps everything running smoothly.
