MAC Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to participants in the community.
Applicants must have valid Australian working rights (e.g Australian citizens. permanent residents, or valid visa holders with work rights).
Key responsibilities:
* Provide personal care assistance, including showering, toileting, dressing, and feeding.
* Support with medical or special procedures as required, following established protocols.
* Administer prescribed medications in accordance with service guidelines.
* Perform domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.
* Maintain household cleanliness, including floor care, bed-making, and general tidiness.
* Assist residents with menu planning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation to promote balanced nutrition and independence.
* Accompany clients to community activities and social events, supporting inclusion and engagement.
* Contribute to individual service planning and coordination, ensuring person-centred care delivery.
* Complete all required documentation, including medication records, personal care diaries, and incident reports, in line with service requirements.
* Provide first aid when necessary, in accordance with training and established procedures.
