The Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

* Perform period end/month end close tasks, including revenue accounting, labour and employee entitlements accounting, and doubtful/bad debts accounting.
* Manage CAPEX, project accounting, and revenue management tasks, as well as supervise billings work performed by Assistant Accountants, Projects and Operations.
* Supervise the end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including credit management, and business partner with Operations and Management teams to ensure customer obligations are satisfied within appropriate timeframes.
* Manage cost accounting, including managing cost centres and management fees, and prepare and lodge Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) returns.
* Ensure key statutory and any other obligations are met, within prescribed timeframes, and provide subject matter expert guidance during the Finance Transformation Program on key financial process areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications

* Relevant qualifications in accounting, such as CPA or CA certification, and proven experience in the financial services industry or related industry.
* Experience in a similar role, with strong technical skills in accounting and finance, and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills, as well as effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
